As I type this I am taking a break from setting up my own webstore to sell my prints directly. I feel this is the best way forward to ensure quality and satisfaction. I’m not seeking to make a living off of these prints, I only hope that I’ll be able to fund my photography hobby.
Speaking of funding this hobby I ordered a new digital camera today that will be used some as well as more film. This is in addition to the printer and paper that will be arriving hopefully later this week.
I’ll also be adding a commission option so that if you want to see my photos in a certain style or of a particular subject you can.
On to more entertaining topics. I turn 30 today. I don’t really know how to feel(I might have mentioned this before, if so I’m sorry.) It’s big for me, if you’d asked me 5 years ago if this is what I thought I’d be doing, blogging and trying to make a name for myself as a photographer I’d have called you crazy. Now it’s just my reality.
I do have a few trips coming over the next few months that I hope to bring back great pictures from, a trip to Orlando to go to Universal Studios as well as a trip to Myrtle Beach. I’ve got some ideas already for Myrtle Beach. It’ll be a lot of riding my bike around and enjoying good food and spending time with my family.
