So the past couple of weeks have flown by for me. Hectic doesn’t begin to describe it. I’ve been getting everything together to go on my first hiking/backpacking trip in a couple of weeks if the weather cooperates. I’m planning on doing the Walls of Jericho in north Alabama. It’s close and easy enough to get help.
It’s exciting and scary. On one hand it’s photography, on the other it’s me on my own in the woods. I’ve got my tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, and just about everything short of some food. I’m not planning on doing backpacking food, just some tuna, crackers, peanut butter, and such. Focusing on calorie density and how easy everything will be be to pack. The only thing I have left to get is a better way to hold my cameras and keep them in my backpack.
I’m planning on that trip being my first shooting Lomo Turquoise. I have 3 rolls so hopefully I’ll get one full one. I’m staying on the lookout for Lomo Purple since it is the closest to Kodak’s beautiful Aerochrome.
I’m going to start setting reminders to make a post every week going forward.
