Capturing the Thrill of the Indy Grand Prix: A Race Day Adventure

In May, I attended the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama at Barber Motorsports Park, where I enjoyed the atmosphere despite muddy conditions. Although my race recollections are faint, I appreciated the familiar track and took photos amidst the challenges. I hope to return next year for the entire weekend experience.

Nice Little Beach Trip

The author reflects on a family tradition of visiting Myrtle Beach, sharing memorable experiences including battling traffic, enjoying Waffle House meals, relaxing on the beach, and reminiscing about childhood visits. Rolex 24 at Daytona

Back in January of this year I went to the Rolex 24 at Daytona with my dad. It was a great time, minus the blisters on my feet from walking all over the track and paddock. The drive down from Alabama was long and largely uneventful. The next day was when the fun began, aContinue reading “Rolex 24 at Daytona”

Long Time No Post

It’s been a while since I posted. Life got chaotic, stressful and rewarding. Since my last post I got a new job, moved, got fired, got another new job, and moved again. I also bought a new camera, got some travel destinations crossed off my bucket list. Stay tuned for more posts, an expansion ofContinue reading “Long Time No Post”

Film and Anxiety pt 3

Being out for my birthday this evening I was wandering around downtown taking pictures on my Pentax loaded with a recently expired roll of Kodak Portra 400. They all have to be done, but sometimes for me I just need to stop and take a minute and reallyContinue reading “Take A Breath”

Anxiety and Film pt 2

First of all I apologize for the delay in posting again. Life happens, film takes time to develop and edit. The anxiety I was feeling when I last posted has subsided into an excitement. My first film camera works! I took a leap of faith and paid $80 for it hoping it’d work and besidesContinue reading “Anxiety and Film pt 2”

Pictures from the week

There’s something about pictures of churches that always gets me. I think its the steep roof angles with the tower reaching towards the sky. Like man reaching up to God. I’m not as religious as I once was, much more skeptical interest than fanatical faith. Ahhh Mardi Gras. It’s something else in the states onContinue reading “Pictures from the week”
